Compensation (USD per kg) | |
| Household Goods | USD 5 / kg | |
| Clothing & Footwear | USD 10 / kg |
Example 1
You ship 50 kg of household goods (two boxes, 25 kg each) with a declared value of USD 1,000 (USD 20 per kg).
One 25 kg box is lost during transportation.
Compensation:
25 kg × USD 5 = USD 125
Example 2
Total weight: 50 kg
Declared value: USD 1,000
Loss: 1 kg
Compensation = 1 kg × USD 5 = USD 5
If 25 kg is lost:
25 kg × USD 5 = USD 125
Basic insurance covers small amounts.
If you require higher coverage, you may choose Premium (Value-Added) Insurance.
Value-Added Insurance
| Product Category | Max Value per kg | Insurance Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Household Goods | ≤ USD 20/kg | 2% |
| Clothing & Footwear | ≤ USD 30/kg | 2% |
| Household Goods | ≤ USD 30/kg | 3% |
| Clothing & Footwear | ≤ USD 50/kg | 3% |
| Household Goods | ≤ USD 40/kg | 4% |
| Clothing & Footwear | ≤ USD 100/kg | 4% |
The premium insurance cost is 2–4% of the declared value.
You may insure any amount, even up to USD 1,000,000.
We take full responsibility for the safety of your goods.
10 boxes, total weight 500 kg
Declared value: USD 10,000
Value per kg: 10,000 ÷ 500 = USD 20/kg
Insurance fee: 2% = USD 200
If 2 boxes (100 kg) are lost:
100 kg × USD 20 = USD 2,000 compensation
Without premium insurance:
100 kg × USD 5 = USD 500
4 boxes, total weight 100 kg
Declared value: USD 12,000
Value per kg = USD 120/kg
Insurance fee: 4% = USD 480
Maximum compensation rate per kg = USD 100/kg
If one 25 kg box is lost:
25 kg × USD 100 = USD 2,500
Basic insurance is free but provides limited compensation.
Value-added insurance costs extra but provides much higher protection and is recommended for:
High-value goods
Long-distance shipments
Items where financial loss would be significant
Most customers do not purchase extra insurance unless shipping valuable goods.
Lost package coverage provides 100% reimbursement
(up to USD 100 per kg with premium insurance).
Loss may occur due to:
Theft
Customs confiscation
Handling errors
Missing packages during loading/unloading
We do not cover product damage (breakage).
Cargo transported via China → Kazakhstan (transit) → destination may be reloaded multiple times, and no carrier can fully control each handling step.
For fragile or high-value goods, you may request:
Additional protective packaging
Delivery in a dedicated container (safer but more expensive)
Breakage is rare (only 0.2% of shipments), typically caused by transit unloading in Kazakhstan.
Therefore, about 60% of customers do not buy extra insurance, relying on our standard packaging and liability coverage.
